Pick Me Up - 11 (Halloween's Eve HELL YEAH)

Hello my awfully beautiful human,

I hope you're doing dandy on this fine Halloween's Eve!

Yes I'm writing in Orange because it's a Halloween-y colour, right?

What are everyone's plans for Halloween? A movie night? Spooky Pamper night? Or living it up @ d clubz? I'd love to know! I did have some Halloween posts, but there's a reason why they're not up, I apologise that I couldn't grace you with my valuable Halloween thoughts, just yet.

This week I'm really loving this quote by Liberal Arts and have been trying to apply it to everything I say and think!

I really like this as I feel that a lot of people my age especially only seem to talk about things they hate? Especially on social media. Being passionate about what you love is beautiful, don't stop talking about the things you're passionate about.

My favourite vines this week being:

And a tribute to Halloween..

My favourite song this week is a song written by Imagine Dragons for The Hunger Games, and it's quite brilliant. It reminds me of Reading Festival '14. Check it out my friends:

Thank you for popping by this week, what are your thoughts on these marvellous things?

All my love and stay safe,

What do you think? Do you like any of these?

All the best my pretties,

The iPhone 5c Case Struggle

Hello pretties!

Today's post is very different, but I thought it'd be incredibly handy for those with an iPhone 5c.
If you have an iPhone 5c, like myself, you'll know how hard it can sometimes be to find decent cases for your phone. So I've done a bit of research, and found beautiful cases that fit the iPhone 5c!

My favourite iPhone 5c cases on the market at the moment are Skinnydip London's.  They're around £12 to £18 and although pricey, they are so beautiful and make such a statement.

I love love love Kate Spade, so when I saw her current iPhone cases, I obviously feel in love with them also. And aren't they just the sweetest?!

I prefer simple and clear perspex iPhone cases personally, so this Hello Sunshine case is pretty much made for me. Although the the clear glitter case on the right is beautiful, I can't currently find it on the site, but it is SO pretty! Bitches love glitter.

If you remember my Florida 2013 trip, you'll know that I adored the State's store, Hot Topic. That store just gets me, you know? I found this cute ass case from there, it's the silhouette of mermaids and fishys! It's little mermaid inspired and I think I'm definitely going to have to get it.

I think Etsy is one of the greatest sites in the world, I swear you can find more incredible stuff there than eBay? So it makes sense for them to do amazing cases!
The Bastille and red aztec (however you can find this here at Nordstrom (Trina Turk Snap Case for iPhone 5C Soleil Orange) are currently unavailable, although there are many similar, for ones similar to the daisy or make up set one click on the links!

I see eBay as my constant back up for iPhone cases, I no longer turn to Amazon. Reason being that the average price range for some of the iPhone 5c cases are 99p-£3.99, which is a bit of a no brainer. I have a habit of buying a good few in one go.
To go to to each pictures site, click the picture or number next to it and it should take you right there!

6. (This is where I bought my Paris case from)

I would love to have done waaaayyy more research as it was so much fun and I now have a wishlist as long as my 5ft2 self, but one must pop.
Thank you for taking the time to read my pretty lil human, I hope you now have a wishlist too.

Stay safe and beautiful,

P.S. I maybe bombarding you with posts this week, also Halloween themed, stay tuned like a [RAD]io

Pick Me Up - 9 (yes I missed 9 out)

Hello my lovelies,

I didn't realise that I had left out 9 until a week later, nice one Poppy.
I'm going to make this a quick blog post due to feeling rather poorly this evening, but I'll make it enjoyable as possible (like always duh).

I like this quote and I'm trying to apply it to my life right now. I filmed my first youtube video today, or part of it, and I can't wait to put that up next week! It's taken me about 2 years to get myself round to doing that, so that's pretty cool.

You should go and do something you've always wanted to do aswell! Better late than never.

I really like these vines this week. I've seen the lady in the apple store throwing a paddy before, but it still makes me laugh. And how can you not love a piglet prancing?!

I've chosen The Courteeners - Lose Control to show you guys this week, I've loved this song for a while and it's a pleasure sharing it with ya'll.

Have a brilliant week my pretties and see ya'll soon,

Delicate Autumnal Outfit - Hampton Court Palace Antics (First OOTD)

Hello my friends!

SO this appears to be my first outfit post and boy have I been excited to write this. I had so much fun taking in the beautiful surroundings with my favourite person, and I think these pictures do my evening justice.

Quite late, because I'm apparently 'high maintainance', Saturday (11/10) afternoon we left for a night away near Hampton Court Palace, London. (To later watch an outdoor viewing of Frozen/Go to Thorpe Park).
When we finally arrived, (I feel sorry for him having to put up with my singing for over an hour personally) the sun was setting across the bridge and gosh do I love that place

I've absolutely positively, fallen head over my god darn heels for this outfit. Recently I've been putting a lot of my energy into expressing myself through my style and I take great pleasure in this outfit.
I've switched black for white recently, the crisp and delicate colour makes me feel more alive than black ever did. I simply adore this electric/cobalt blue with the simple yet fantastic floral pattern. Just because it's going into the colder months doesn't mean that you have to start wearing dark colours; I hope I express this through this outfit.

This midi skirt is from > clothesminded <, a brand that if you know me well, you know I'm a fanatic. With their brilliantly unique clothing and insanely low prices, they're a no brainer. This skirt was £3.99, and although I don't think they no longer have it, here are some similar skirts or click here to view their current skirts.

Midi skirts should always be a girls best friend, they're not too short neither too long. Yes, I'm one of those people who much rather wear a skirt than jeans.
The detail on this skirt is just stunning, what more can I say apart from that!

Just like the lovely Lauren, I think that every girl needs a pair of black boots that they love so much that they want to wear them every single day; and these are my version of this. With midi skirts I prefer to also wear short ankle boots.

I've got into a habit of only buying shoes with at least a bit of heel, I think this suits my body type more and plus I feel like Beyoncé when walking with my head held high.

These boots were actually purchased from Tesco, of all places, over a year ago, for around £20. I bought them whilst on a food shop and I couldn't resist. Since then I've made constant use of them, they go with everything. I love the contrast of the gold zip, that's probably my favourite feature of these boots. Black and gold, what a winner, it will never date.

If you know me, you will know that these never left my feet last A/W, and I can see the same happening again this year, I'm just not ready to let go of them. They're so comfy and have walked around countless cities, London, Paris..

Plus I'm incredibly picky with boots, no lie, a lot of boots out at the moment I hate with a passion. Once you find something you love, keep it.

Here are some more pictures of my posing, you're probably sick of them by now.

Anyway, I really want to talk about how delicate this white blouse is.
I picked this white blouse up from C&A whilst I was in Paris, alas, they do not have any stores in the UK however I think they ship. Think of them as a mix between Primark and H&M, fabulous I know.

Again, I am very picky with white blouses and shirts, I like them to be flow-y as such,  I believe that this quality makes them SO versatile as they can be put with leggings and a skirt easily. I also love the cuffs of this shirt and the v-neck line, this gives the shirt a personality.

 1. Somerset by Alice Temperley Cotton Tie Neck Blouse, Cream. £69.

2. H&M Silk blouse. £35.

3. Mango Crepe Flowy Blouse, Natural White. £25

Whilst we're looking at this beauty of a shirt, I want to quickly talk about my accessories. My necklace, again is from C&A. [Link above]. Pink is probably one of my least favourite colours when it comes to my style, however I am really enjoy putting subtle dusty pinks in my outfits. Both my sunglasses and necklace have that pretty pop and I think they make the outfit my style. God bless statement necklaces.

You can find my cute lil sunglasses by typing 'flower sunglasses ' (I have clear perspex) into Ebay, they're around £3.99, so are very affordable. Although mine took 3 months to arrive, god darn it China, you had one job.

I'm aware that this is probably more appealing to girls, so apologies males species. I spent an incredibly long time on this post and really enjoyed the experience, so there'll definitely be more to come.
